Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At California Hair and Skin Institute, we value both your time and the time of our medical team. To ensure we can provide the highest level of care to all patients, we kindly ask that any appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 48 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
Consultations
• Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 business hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Patients who fail to attend a scheduled consultation without notice ('no-show') may be required to pay a fee before scheduling future appointments.
Procedures and Surgical Appointments
• Hair transplant procedures and other reserved treatment appointments require significant scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of a scheduled procedure may result in forfeiture of all or part of the deposit, unless otherwise approved by the practice.
• Patients arriving significantly late may need to have their appointment rescheduled to ensure adequate treatment time and patient safety.
Deposits
• Procedure deposits are applied toward the cost of treatment.
• Deposits are generally non-refundable but may be transferred to a future appointment if adequate notice is provided and approved by the practice.
Emergency Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. Cancellation fees may be waived at the sole discretion of the practice in cases involving medical emergencies, severe illness, or other extenuating circumstances.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible so we can accommodate your needs and offer the appointment time to another patient.
